Otro monstruo también acecha en los alrededores del lago, que está cerca de Bariloche en los Andes argentinos. Se llama Capa Negra: el Cabo Negro. Atrapa las pistas de esquí por la noche y debe evitarse a toda costa. Monstruos de las leyendas de los mapuches encuentran su camino en el debut de largometrajes de Manque La Bancaa Esquí a través de varios giros y vueltas. Una vez allí, interactúan con los otros personajes de los films: ancianos austriacos que afirman haber llevado el deporte del esquí a Bariloche; esquiadores que derriban la montaña en escenas hicieron aún más impresionante a través del uso generoso de cámara lenta y repetidas paradas y arranques; los residentes locales de un barrio pobre, que toman parte de la dirección de la película en sus propias manos; y finalmente el propio cineasta, que señala sus nalgas peludas a la cámara. Esquí es tan precioso porque marca el punto donde la dedicación hipster a la forma y la conciencia política de la generación despierta comienzan una hermosa amistad.
